Job Description

Missions

design of molecular platforms for enzyme immobilization and to the establishment of robust structure-property relationships governing interfacial electron transfer and enzyme orientation.

Activity

- synthesis of reactive molecular precursors bearing functional groups such as maleimides, azides or alkynes.
-Characterization and optimization of functionalized surfaces for the specific immobilization of enzymes
- studies of the correlations between surface structure, reactivity, stability, and electron transfer properties

Your Profil

Skills

Ph.D. holder with expertise in the following areas: surface functionalization and characterization (XPS, QCM), electrochemistry, and possibly biointerfaces. A strong interest in multidisciplinary research and collaborative work is essential.

Your Work Environment

The MOLTECH-Anjou Laboratory (a joint CNRS-University of Angers research unit) brings together the expertise of 80 people, including nearly 50 CNRS researchers, academic researchers, engineers, and technical staff, as well as around 30 doctoral and post-doctoral researchers.
The scientific activity of the MOLTECH-Anjou Laboratory focuses on the development of molecular materials, whether organic or hybrid organic-inorganic, supporting high-visibility research areas such as organic electronics, stimuli-responsive materials, nanostructuring, and materials for energy.
Six research teams combine their expertise in theoretical and computational chemistry, organic and inorganic synthesis, coordination and supramolecular chemistry, physical and analytical chemistry, materials design, and photonics. Five teams are affiliated with the CNRS National Institute of Chemistry (INC), while the sixth is part of the CNRS National Institute of Physics (CIMI - ECHO - KEMTRONIX - PulSAr - VoltEdge - SAMSON).
The postdoctoral researcher will join the VoltEdge team at MOLTECH-Anjou (CNRS, University of Angers) and will work in close collaboration with project partners from BIP, Marseille (bioelectrochemistry, enzyme engineering, EPR spectroscopy) and ITODYS, Paris (AFM-SECM and nanoscale electrochemistry).
