Job Description
Missions
The successful candidate will be responsible for modelling a neurophysiological phenomenon (the onset of sleep) using tools derived from dynamical systems theory, and for using these models to analyse data from patients with sleep disorders
Activity
The successful candidate will be required to develop IT tools (signal processing, simulation, parameter estimation), carry out data analysis (statistical tests), and publish and communicate the results obtained. The role may also involve liaising with medical partners.

The successful candidate will join the neuro group, a team of six people working at the interface between control engineering and neuroscience, within the DYNAMO team (Dynamics of Natural and Artificial Systems, Machine Learning and Optimisation) of the AS2M department at the FEMTO-ST Institute in Besançon.
