Job Description
Missions
The objective of this VIPODEC project, funded by the ANR and involving three academic partners (ICMMO in Paris Saclay, CARMeN in Rouen, and the Armed Forces Biomedical Research Institute, IRBA, in Brétigny sur Orge), is to design nanoreactors that can detoxify toxic agents by integrating porphyrins into a cage-like protein structure in order to develop a new category of hybrid catalysts suitable for selective oxidation.
Activity
As part of the VIPODEC project, the researcher hired at the CARMeN Institute will prepare simulants of legal and harmless toxic agents and develop high-throughput screening (HTS) tests to screen the catalytic activities of enzymes prepared by the consortium partners.

- Organic chemistry work in the laboratory
- NMR and UV-MS analysis
- Scientific and technical bibliography
- Writing research articles
- Writing reports and giving regular oral presentations
Your Profil
Skills
- PhD in organic synthesis
- Skills in analytical chemistry and/or biocatalysis
Your Work Environment
The research will be conducted at the CARMeN Institute UMR CNRS 6064 (formerly COBRA, formerly LCMT) located in the IRCOF building on the Mont-Saint-Aignan site (http://www.lab-cobra.fr/).
