This project aims at developing an original and step-economic synthetic route towards compounds of interest for industries using novel technologies. The post-doctoral researcher will be in charge of the experimental work, analysis (HPLC, NMR...), the writing of scientific reports and publications and will take benefit from an international environment. This is a collaborative project with the TFChem company. Note that the project belongs to the French "Plan de Relance" and will require the approval of the DRARI (Délégation régionale académique à la Recherche et à l'Innovation.)
Development of original methodologies in organic synthesis:
Analysis (RMN, HPLC…)
Technical and scientific literature reports
Writing of scientific reports and research publications
Regular oral communications
To support this research program, we are looking for outstanding and highly motivated candidates for a post-doctoral fellowship in our group. The candidate should have received his/her PhD degree in Organic Chemistry during the 2019-2021 period. The candidate will have a strong background in organic synthesis with excellent theoretical and experimental skills. A background in organofluorine chemistry is not mandatory. We are looking for dedicated, curious, and hard worker candidates. Moreover, the candidates should have good communication skills, a good team spirit and will take benefit from an international research environment.
The research work will take place 50% time in the COBRA UMR CNRS 6014 laboratory (University of Rouen Normandie/INSA de Rouen Normandie/CNRS) located in the IRCOF building of the Mont-Saint-Aignan site (website http://www.lab-cobra.fr/) and 50% time in TFChem laboratories at Val de Reuil (Normandie, 27)
The work will be supervised by Tatiana BESSET, CNRS researcher, and Thomas POISSON, Professor at INSA Rouen
The applicant will be recruited once the project received the approval of the DRARI Normandie. Note that the UMR 6014 COBRA is a restricted area (ZRR) and its access is strictly regulated and subject to authorization.
