Missions
The health crisis of 2020 has highlighted the strong dependence of our health system on drug imports linked to the decline of the French pharmaceutical industry and the relocation of research and production. The project consists of developing syntheses of active pharmaceutical ingredients using continuous flow (or microfluidic) synthesis technology to give France a new form of health sovereignty, technically adapted to the context of the global economy of the 21st century.
Activities
- continuous flow synthesis,
- organic chemistry work in the lab,
- NMR analysis, MS...
- scientific and technical bibliography,
- writing research articles,
- regular reporting and oral presentations.
Skills
- PhD in organic synthesis
- skills in continuous flow synthesis appreciated
Work Context
The research work will take place in the COBRA UMR CNRS 6014 laboratory (University of Rouen Normandie/INSA de Rouen Normandie/CNRS) located in the IRCOF building of the Mont-Saint-Aignan site (website under construction: http://www.lab-cobra.fr/).
The work will be supervised by Philippe JUBAULT and Thomas POISSON, Professors at the INSA of Rouen, and Julien LEGROS, Research Director at the CNRS.
Constraints and risks
Work in organic chemistry with the usual constraints of organic chemistry (work under a ventilated fume cupboard, personal protective equipment,...).
