Job Description
Missions
The recruited person will work within the ZTF, LSST/DESC and Lazuli collaborations to implement cosmological analyses derived from the observation of Type Ia Supernovae. This work, carried out within the framework of the ANR SCINF project, aims to develop inference methods based on neural networks whose parameters are trained on simulations (SBI — Simulation-Based Inference).

Your Profil
Skills
The recruited person must have expertise in cosmology, numerical development and machine learning. They must be proficient in the Python programming language, with experience in JAX being a plus.
Your Work Environment
The work will be carried out within the framework of the ANR SCINF project (2026–2029) and will be embedded in the international ZTF, LSST/DESC and Lazuli collaborations. The recruited person will join the Cosmology team at IP2I and will work under the direct supervision of Dr. Mickael Rigault.
