Missions
Setup and operation of a PET-SCAN prototype using MCPs as sensors
Activités
- Design a vacuum system housing the two arms of the PET-SCAN system
- Develop a simulation tool to optimize the prototype structure
- Develop software tools for data acquisition and processing
Compétences
- Deep knowledge of instrumentation and elementary particle detection
- Proficiency in simulation tools (Gantt4 and CST)
- Proficiency in programming languages (C++, Pyrhon)
- Knowledge of electronic systems and chip calibration methods
Contexte de travail
This work is being carried out within the PICMIC group at IP2I in Lyon, under a pre-maturity grant obtained following a patent awarded to Professor I. Laktineh.

The recruited individual will be required to collaborate and conduct measurements in collaboration with the CERMEP institute at Lyon 1 University.
