Job Description

Missions

The main objective is to develop and commercialise an innovative and versatile platform for biophysical and chemical characterisation, featuring a removable and portable detection module. It uniquely combines state-of-the-art methods in microfluidics, imaging and deep learning, through absorption-based Taylor dispersion analysis, spectrometry and advanced statistical inference. It is important to note that the platform is expected to be low-cost, high-throughput, low-volume, multimodal, multipoint, label-free and high-resolution, and that it should, for the first time, provide access to the complete size distribution and formulation of complex polydisperse suspensions of any microscopic agent of interest. The programme is divided into four work packages, dealing respectively with: the assembly of the ultra-stable microfluidic platform equipped with automated robotic arms for the selection and injection of samples; imaging and characterisation tests on suspensions, with increasing degrees of complexity and polydispersity; the implementation of AI methods for high-dimensional statistical inference; and market validation and refined market identification.
