Job Description
Missions
The candidate will be working on research questions related to the ERC project AGATHA CRYPTY. The project relates to various algorithmic and mathematical aspects of lattice-based and isogeny-based cryptography. The candidate will be an active contributor to cryptologic research, producing articles meeting the highest standards of the field, and presenting their results at international venues.
Activity
- Producing articles on research questions related to the AGATHA CRYPTY project
- Presenting their results at international venues
- Be an active member of the number-theory team, attending its seminar and working group
- Other contributions to the community are welcome (e.g., organisation of events)
Your Profil
Skills
- The candidate should hold a PhD degree in Mathematics or Computer Science
- They should have a strong record related to any of the following topics: number theory, computational number theory, lattice-based cryptography, isogeny-based cryptography
Your Work Environment
The candidate will join the number theory team of the Unit of Pure and Applied Mathematics (UMPA) of ENS de Lyon.
They will benefit from the resources of the ERC project AGATHA CRYPTY, allowing them to travel, obtain equipment, or recruit interns.
