Job Description

Missions

This study aims to develop sustainable electronic solutions, specifically by creating materials and processes that can significantly reduce the environmental impact, including waste generation and carbon footprint, compared to conventional electronics manufacturing. The project will primarily investigate intrinsic conductive polymers (ICP) such as PEDOT and its derivatives, with a strong emphasis on their processability via 3D printing and their electrical conductivity, alongside considerations for recyclability.

Activity

The overarching objective is to identify, synthesize, formulate, and characterize conductive materials suitable for 3D printing, specifically Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF/FDM). This includes :

• Developing conductive polymers with optimized processability for 3D printing.
• Ensuring high electrical conductivity while maintaining mechanical integrity.
• Integrating recyclability as a core material property.
• Addressing the challenges of making intrinsically conductive polymers (ICP) formable.
