Missions
The engineer will be responsible for operating all polar nadir altimeters to measure sea ice thickness, validate results, and establish climate trends based on variations in ice and snow volumes.
Activités
- Coordinate activities involving nadir altimetry measurements of sea ice thickness.
- Develop innovative methods for measuring sea ice thickness.
- Implement validation methods in relation to other spatial measurements and in situ measurements.
- Evaluate the relevance of results and their interpretation using statistical approaches.
- Establish climate trends in ice and snow volume variations in the two polar hemispheres.
- Participate in national (TOSCA/CNES) and international (ESA) research projects and related publications.
