Job Description
Missions
The goal is to develop decision-support tools—such as serious games (e.g., a "fresco" activity or participatory workshop)—to raise awareness about subsurface-related issues.
Activity
Document review (regulatory framework, reports, expert assessments, databases, etc.) Fieldwork (case studies in the Massif Central, 4 weeks of fieldwork) Interviews with key regional stakeholders (10 to 20 interviews) Teamwork within the "Subsoil: A Common Good" (Sous-sol, bien commun) PEPR project (GET, GEODE)

Skills
Understanding of subsurface resource issues; mastery of scientific research tools (project development, literature review, fieldwork, scientific writing); commitment, autonomy, adaptability, teamwork.
Your Work Environment
GET is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research laboratory specializing in Earth and Environmental Sciences, affiliated with the Midi-Pyrénées Observatory (OSU OMP). The unit currently comprises a staff of 226 people, including 156 permanent employees and over 70 PhD students and researchers on fixed-term contracts. GET is located at the Toulouse-Rangueil Science Complex, a site that brings together the University of Toulouse III, the Midi-Pyrénées Observatory, national research organizations (such as CNES, ONERA, and the CNRS Regional Delegation), national higher education institutions (including SUPAERO and ENAC), and numerous Joint Research Units.
GET is also a unit affiliated with the Carnot Institute ISIFoR (Sustainable Engineering of Georesources). GET conducts research across major scientific fields and issues concerning Earth's evolution and dynamics, past and present environments and climates, and environment-society interactions, as well as the development and provision—to the scientific community—of observations, data, and models for the geosciences and the environment.
