2) Generate and analyze traditional and geometric morphometric data in 2 and 3 dimensions.
3) Participate in the joint analysis of archaeozoological and archaeobotanical data (i.e. faunal and floristic spectra).

This mission is part of the ERC DEMETER (starting grant #852573) which aims to understand the factors involved in the evolution of domesticated species over the last eight millennia in the Northwestern Mediterranean Basin. The recruited person will fully participate in the project activities.

Contexte de travail

The Institute of Evolution Science-Montpellier (ISEM, https://isem-evolution.fr/) is a joint research unit of the University of Montpellier/CNRS/IRD/EPHE located on the Triolet campus of the University of Montpellier. ISEM gathers 17 research teams working on the origins and dynamics of biodiversity, in an evolutionary perspective, at different scales of space and time. The CDD will be integrated within the "PAST" department and the "Dynamics of Biodiversity, Anthropoecology" team under the direct responsibility of L. Bouby and A. Evin. Some of the activities will be part of the ANR MICA programme (Modelling Interactions between Climate change and Agriculture in the ancient West).
