The Centre for Brain and Cognition Research (CerCo) is a joint research unit of the CNRS and the University of Toulouse (EPE) and is part of the Toulouse Mind and Brain Institute (TMBI). CerCo's scientific objectives focus on the study of various sensory modalities and their integration, as well as cognitive functions such as memory, object recognition, consciousness, and mental states. The host team, SV3M (see: https://cerco.cnrs.fr/spatial-vision-in-man-monkey-machine/), specializes in the study of the neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying spatial vision. Toulouse is a university city offering a high quality of life, located in the southwest of France, close to the Pyrenees, Spain, and the Mediterranean Sea.
