The postdoctoral candidate will study the role of a newly identified family of proteins that is involved in the brassinosteroid signaling pathway in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana


The postdoctoral candidate will :
- Characterize loss of function mutants for the genes investigated
- Investigate the subcellular localization of the corresponding proteins using transient expression in tobacco leaves


- Molecular Biology (PCR, cloning)
- Molecular Genetics (genotyping, phenotyping)
- Cell Biology (confocal microscopy, image analysis)
Proficiency in English is mandatory (at least B2 level)

Work Context

The LRSV is a mixed CNRS / University Toulouse 3 unit located on the INRA campus of Auzeville-Tolosane. The LRSV brings together 8 research teams studying plant development and their response to biotic and abiotic stresses. LRSV has culture spaces and confocal microscopes that will be used during the postdoctoral project.
The postdoctoral fellow will be part of the Cell Signaling and Ubiquitination team and will report directly to the team leader.

Constraints and risks

The postdoctoral fellow will be trained in the use of culture, laboratory and microscope spaces to ensure user safety and equipment compliance.
