The applicant will:
- Perform and analyse genomics experiments (eg. HiC, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq,…)
- Set-up genomics protocols
- Contribute to the development of bioinformatics tools.
- Communicate results: seminar, meetings and articles.


- Genomics experiments: ATAC-seq, HiC, ChIP-seq, Cut&Run, etc
- Preparation of sequencing libraries.
- Bioinformatics.
- Reports to the team.
- Writing articles.


- Well organised.
- Speak French and English.
- Knowledge in genomics and bioinformatics (R, Python, Linux).
- Knowledge in molecular biology.

Work Context

The Institute of Molecular Genetics of Montpellier is a joint CNRS and University of Montpellier research unit, with 180 people divided into 13 research groups, 9 core facilities (including 5 shared with other units on the CNRS campus) and 9 technological platforms.
The IGMM is a multidisciplinary institute focusing in molecular and cellular biology (www.igmm.cnrs.fr)
The applicant will be assigned to the team (9 members) led by Dr. JC Andrau at IGMM. The applicant will work with Dr. Cyril Esnault on an emerging laboratory project. The team works in an international (English) and interdisciplinary (biology, bioinformatics, genomics, biophysics) context.

Constraints and risks

Working on week-ends or bank holidays may be needed to maintain the biological samples (max 1 to 2h per week-end)
