Missions

The postdoc researcher will conduct research about the interpolation of audio signals using optimal transport of time-frequency distributions.

Activities

Scientific activities : audio modelling, optimisation with Wasserstein distances, phase reconstruction, application in music editing.

Dissemination: writing of scientific papers, code publishing, scientic presentations and communication.

Skills

- PhD in signal processing, machine learning or optimal transport.
- Programming skills (Python, Matlab and/or R)
- English writing and speaking

Work Context

The postdoc researcher will join the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT). IRIT is a joint laboratory of CNRS and Toulouse universities & engineering schools. It is among the largest computer & information sciences labs in France. Toulouse is the fourth-largest city in France, the capital of the Occitanie region in the South- West of France, and is praised for its high quality of living. The physical location for the project is the ENSEEIHT campus, in a lively neighbourhood of the city center.
