Job Description
Missions
Theory and simulation of interacting quantum systems as part of the HQI project. Programming and preparation of code and libraries. Verification of simulations against exact solutions in limiting cases.
Activity
Use of quantum computers and emulators to study the properties of interacting N-body systems in low dimensions. Participation in consortium meetings. Writing scientific articles. Presenting results at conferences.
Your Profil
Skills
Knowledge of theoretical physics and many-body systems. Simulation skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Your Work Environment
The LPMMC is a joint physics research unit that brings together a variety of theoretical expertise, funded by the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA) and the CNRS (UMR 5493). Originally dedicated to computational physics, it now focuses primarily on the theoretical physics of condensed matter and quantum physics. The laboratory is located at the CNRS campus in Grenoble.
The position is in a sector subject to the Protection of Scientific and Technical Potential (PPST) regulations and therefore, in accordance with these regulations, requires that the appointment be authorized by the competent authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR).
