Job Description
Missions
As part of the LINGUATEC IA project, the recruited staff member's main mission will be to update the IKER laboratory databases, as well as to ensure the management, operational maintenance, operation, and user-level support for the information system and its users.
Activity
• Update databases developed within the framework of the laboratory's projects.
• Contribute to the administration of the information system in terms of standards, rules, procedures, methodologies, and tools.
• Verify the relevance and functional performance of the information system.
• Propose application developments (functional or technical).
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of service level agreements.
• Share best practices in the use of the domain's information system.
• Resolve or escalate incidents and optimize performance.
• Effectively control and plan application and/or software changes.
• Contribute to the development of consultation, monitoring, and management tools (scripts, procedures, queries, reporting).
• Anticipate changes and their operational impact on the information system and promote them through advisory and communication actions.
• Assist project owners in drafting specifications.
• Write functional and technical documentation.
• Lead and coordinate a team.

Your Work Environment
The IKER laboratory, Centre for Research on the Basque Language and Texts, is located in Bayonne. It is a Joint Research Unit (UMR) under the joint supervision of the CNRS, Université Bordeaux Montaigne (UBM), and the University of Pau and the Adour Region (UPPA). The laboratory is composed of around fifty staff members: 17 researchers, 5 technical staff, 2 fixed-term research fellows, 25 PhD students, and several visiting scholars.
