Missions

As part of the ANR RhéF-R project, which includes the edition of Guillaume Cretin's Chronique française (1515-1525), the person recruited will be in charge of research into the historiographical and/or fictional and poetic sources of the chronicle. The person recruited will be part of UMR 5316 Litt&Arts and will contribute to the scientific development of the project.

Activités

- Identification and analysis of the manuscript and printed sources used for Cretin's Chronicle (based on existing documentation);
- Writing notes and notices about this research in XML-TEI for publication on the CreNum online platform;
- Production of scientific papers;
- Active participation in workshops, meetings and scientific events planned as part of the project;
- Co-organization of scientific events and events promoting science to the general public;
- Possible participation in the supervision of trainees.

Compétences

Essential technical skills (knowledge, know how):
- Essential skills in thirteenth- to sixteenth-century history and/or literature
- Skills in Old French and Latin
- Skills in philology and paleography
- Skills in digital humanities desirable (XML-TEI format and Oxygen software)

Essential cross-disciplinary / interpersonal skills (soft skills): ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to communicate; initiative; ability to organize work.

Managerial skills: organize a scientific event, supervise a trainee, etc.

Contexte de travail

Within the Alpes region (Isère, Savoie and Haute-Savoie), the CNRS is one of the main public players in scientific research, alongside the Higher Education and Research Establishments (Universities, Schools, etc.) and other national organizations (Inserm, Inria, etc.). It employs around 2,300 researchers, engineers, technicians and administrative staff. The Délégation Régionale Alpes, located on Grenoble's Presqu'île, groups together 7 departments that support 70 research units in carrying out their scientific research missions. Unit/service/team description: Litt&Arts is a CNRS joint research unit (UMR 5316) located on the Grenoble university campus, within easy reach of the city center by bicycle or public transport. The laboratory is made up of over a hundred people working on research into the arts and practices of text, image, screen and stage.
The person recruited will be part of the ANR RhéF-R project. He/she will work directly with Ms Ellen Delvallée (project leader) and may be required to collaborate with the entire project team, including history and literature professors. He/she will be supported in her work and, where necessary, trained by ELAN team engineers. Working conditions:
Working hours can be freely defined with the project manager.
An office and a computer will be provided on the campus of Université Grenoble Alpes, in Saint Martin d'Hères.
The person recruited will be able to telework, according to arrangements to be defined with the project manager.
The person recruited may be required to carry out assignments (library research, participation in conferences, etc.) funded by the ANR.
