Job Description
Missions
This position concerns the use and development of an experimental gas-phase vibration spectroscopy (IRMPD) platform coupling tunable infrared lasers and a mass spectrometer.
Activity
The person recruited will work on the daily optimization of the IRMPD device and on the measurement of IRMPD spectra carried out on molecular samples of biological interest.
Your Profil
Skills
The successful candidate will need a background in physics or physical chemistry. They will need skills in optics and spectroscopy. Skills in mass spectrometry are an asset.
Your Work Environment
The Lumière Matière Institute (iLM) is a CNRS-Université Lyon 1 research unit located on the Lyon Tech La Doua campus. With over 300 staff members, including around 100 doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, iLM is a major player in physics and chemistry research in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, internationally recognized for its research excellence. The DYNAMO team is internationally renowned, particularly for its work on the study of biomolecules using IRMPD gas-phase spectroscopy.
