The successful candidate will work alongside Philipp Heeb and Joël White, in collaboration with a PhD student, and will be responsible for analysing sequencing data from multi-year, large-scale projects to examine the ecological and phenotypic factors that shape the gut microbiota of birds. They will also carry out molecular analyses and bioinformatic processing of dietary metabarcoding data (ANR Copa-Co project).

Your Work Environment
Our research aims to gain a better understanding of the role of the gut microbiota in how organisms respond to human-induced disturbances in their environment. In particular, we are investigating the impact of urbanisation on host-microbiota interactions in titmice. Remote working is possible on one flexible day per week, subject to the employee's ability to work independently and notification via the relevant tools available in the department.
