Missions

The postdoctoral researcher's mission will be to develop correlative optical microscopy techniques involving high resolution / super-resolution (single particle tracking) and label-free phase imaging in living brains. An important aspect will be to take into account the 3D and thick nature of the environment.

Work Context

This multidisciplinary project will take place on the campus of the University of Bordeaux as part of an ERC Synergy Award, in the laboratory of Laurent Cognet (LP2N, https://www.lp2n.institutoptique.fr/ ) in collaboration with Dr Laurent Groc (Interdisciplinary Institute of Neurosciences; https://www.iins.u-bordeaux.fr/), Dr Erwan Bézard (Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases, https://www.imn.u- bordeaux. fr /), and Prof. Valentin Nägerl (Interdisciplinary Institute of Neurosciences; https://www.iins.u-bordeaux.fr/).
