- Develop and evaluate new radiolabeled vectors for therapeutic use.
- Analyze and interpret preclinical and/or clinical data.
- Contribute to the drafting of scientific publications and grant proposals.
- Present results at national and international conferences.
Activity
You are a researcher with a Ph.D. in experimental radiochemistry (required).

Scientific Background
General Skills
• Excellent communication skills (French and English) are required.
• You enjoy working in a cross-disciplinary team and are comfortable interacting with a wide range of people.
Your Work Environment

The thesis project is part of one of the research themes of Benjamin Gibert and Thomas Walter's team, titled “Gastroenterology and Health Technologies,” and focuses in part on studying the biodistribution of radiolabeled probes using nuclear imaging technologies.
The candidate (male or female) must hold a Ph.D. with strong skills in radiochemistry.
The research will include in vitro experiments and the use of new therapeutic molecules (cell biology, molecular biology, chemical synthesis, etc.) as well as animal studies (imaging and therapy).
Constraints and risks
14-month fixed-term contract. The thesis work will be conducted at the Lyon Cancer Research Center (CRCL, UMR CNRS 5286, Inserm U1052, UCBL, CLB), under the scientific supervision of Benjamin GIBERT, Research Director at the CNRS.
The candidate will benefit from an international scientific environment dedicated to cancer research (approximately 550 people), thanks to the 26 research teams and 13 technology platforms located on the site.
The CRCL is affiliated with four parent organizations: the CNRS, INSERM, Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University, and the Léon Bérard Center.
