Job Description
Missions
The engineer will be responsible for commissioning two devices compatible with in situ characterization using synchrotron micro-tomography. These systems are specifically developed as part of the ADAM project (Accelerated Design of Architectured Materials). They include:
A 6-degree-of-freedom mechanical loading device to identify the behavior of architectured metallic or bio-based materials.
A local powder-bed fusion additive manufacturing device.
The engineer will:
Receive and inspect the most critical externally designed components.
Finalize the assembly of the systems.
Validate their functionality.
Implement them for use on a synchrotron micro-tomography beamline.
Activity
Interact with suppliers responsible for subsystem manufacturing.
Receive and inspect subsystems.
Integrate subsystems into the complete systems.
Test and validate the systems.
Implement the systems on the synchrotron micro-tomography beamline.
