Job Description

Missions

He/She will lead the study of MOF adsorption properties in the laboratory and will be responsible for monitoring the project with the industrial partners.
The study focuses on the development of air and water purification processes using MOFs that can be scaled up to industrial production.

Activity

- Development of purification and separation methods
- Structural and textural characterization of porous materials
- Performance measurements in gas separation tests using miniaturized chromatographic columns
- Report writing and publications
- Facilitation of internal meetings
- Project monitoring with partners and report/deliverable writing

Your Profil

Skills

- Experience in the synthesis and characterization of MOFs
- Expertise and experience in gas and vapor separation processes
- Management of academic research teams and supervision of PhD students and technicians
- Writing publications and coordinating publication projects
- Patentability studies (bibliographic review, literature review, patents), freedom-to-operate studies

Your Work Environment

This study is part of the DEFIMOF France 2030 program, funded by BPI.

The position falls within the area of ​​scientific and technical potential protection (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with regulations, that your arrival be authorized by the relevant authority within the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESR).
- Study of the scale-up of MOF synthesis in aqueous media using innovative processes.

- Development of purification and separation methods.
- Structural and textural characterization of porous materials.
- Performance measurements in gas separation tests using miniaturized chromatographic columns.
- Report writing and publications.
- Facilitation of internal meetings.
- Project monitoring with partners and writing of reports/deliverables.
