Job Description
Missions
This postdoctoral position requires strong skills in organic synthesis and characterization (NMR, IR, UV-Vis, cyclic voltammetry) of both molecular and polymeric pi-conjugated systems. Additional experience in the development of organic electronic devices will also be valued.
Activity
The postdoctoral researcher (M/F) hired will be responsible for synthesizing the organic materials needed to develop a hybrid photovoltaic-thermoelectric module (OPV-TEG), namely: the active layer of the OPV cell, the n- and p-type semiconductors of the TEG module, as well as their characterization.

Your Work Environment
The successful candidate (M/F) will work at the Balard Chemistry Research Building, at the ICGM, in Department D1, “Chemistry & Molecular Materials.” The weekly work schedule is set at 35 hours. The research will be conducted as part of the MHOT project, funded by the PV-Star project (Occitanie region project).
Constraints and risks
The recruited researcher (M/F) will have access to all the research facilities at the Balard Chemical Research Building for the synthesis (work in fume hoods, dual vacuum/argon lines, rotary evaporators, chromatographic techniques) and characterization of compounds and materials. He must comply with the safety requirements related to the following risks:
- handling of chemicals (CMR, fire hazard, etc.)
- work in a synthesis laboratory (wearing PPE, etc.)
