Job Description
Missions
Conduct laboratory experiments of carbonate sample dissolution considering various initial heterogeneities in the samples. Use several monitoring tools throughout the experiments, including X-ray tomography images, tracers, and geophysical measurements (Polarization Spectroscopy, Surface Impedance Spectroscopy).
Activity
-Perform dissolution experiments on carbonate samples with different initial heterogeneities.
-Monitor experiments using X-ray tomography, tracers, and geophysical measurements (PS, SIP).
-Analyze and interpret data from these various experimental techniques.
Collaborate closely with the Kasper project team.
-Write scientific reports and contribute to the publication of results.
Your Profil
Skills
-Proficiency in laboratory experimental techniques, especially X-ray tomography, electrical measurements (PS, SIP), and tracer usage.
-Knowledge in geosciences or materials science.
-Data analysis skills and proficiency with related software.
-Good writing skills and ability to work in a team.
Your Work Environment
Integration within a multidisciplinary team working on an innovative research project, with access to state-of-the-art experimental equipment.
