Job Description
Missions
Analytically develop, numerically model, and conduct high-performance calculations for open and isolated quantum problems in the presence of disorder, such as the localization of light, and other modern problems in the field of Disordered quantum mechanics.
Activity
Analytical derivations, numerical simulations, modeling, fundamental research.

Skills
Excellent knowledge of Anderson localization and Random-matrix theory
High-performance computing
Your Work Environment
The research program will be conducted as a collaboration between the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics (Quantum Coherence group, PI Ivan M. KHAYMOVICH) at the University of Toulouse and the Institut de Physique de Nice - INPHYNI (Cold Atoms group, PI Robin KAISER). This will be an effort between theoretical and experimental physics, favoring candidates willing to collaborate closely with experimental groups.
The contract is concluded for an initial period of 2 years, possible to extend for 1 year.
