Missions
The agent will work on SMOS satellite data, focusing in particular on the quality of Level 3 soil moisture data from the Centre Aval de Traitement des Données SMOS

- Statistics and skills in programming (Python, Matlab, …) is required.

Contexte de travail
The candidate will be part of the Passive Microwave Group of CESBIO, of about 12 persons dedicated to the SMOS mission (calibration/validation, retrieval algorithm, applications in hydrology) and will benefit from their knowledge and experience on the mission.
Le poste se situe dans un secteur relevant de la protection du potentiel scientifique et technique (PPST), et nécessite donc, conformément à la réglementation, que votre arrivée soit autorisée par l'autorité compétente du MESR.
