Activities

The proposed project focuses on the molecular characterization of the mechanisms underlying the antiplasmodial activity of a chemical compound through:
Evaluation of the cytotoxic activity of small molecules using viability assays
Selection of a resistant parasite strain through drug pressure
Analysis of the effects of molecules on nucleic acids using molecular approaches: qPCR, RTqPCR
Analysis of the effects of compounds on the integrity of parasite organelles using Super resolution Microscopy.
