Missions
The applicant who will develop as a specialist in a project of pre-competitive maturation of saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strains modulating the expression of ribosome components (ribosomal RNA and ribosomal proteins)
Activités
Build using molecular biology approaches mutant yeast strains de-regulating the expression of ribosomal constituents.
The candidate should have expert knowledge in cellular RNA extraction, quantification.
The candidate be familiar with RNA polymerase chromatin co-immunoprecipitation and associated techniques (Chip-Seq, CRAC, Net-Seq).
The candidate will have to use genome-wide bioinformatics approaches to analyze the results of massive sequencing.
Compétences
Molecular biologist with a master's degree and/or thesis with demonstrated expertise in RNA molecular biology, gene expression analysis.
Microorganism manipulation (bacteria, yeast) and experience in molecular genetics
Contexte de travail
The work will be carried out in the Nuclear Organization and Dynamics team, led by Olivier Gadal and Fréderic Beckouet, within the MCD-CNRS unit of the CBI in Toulouse. The work will be carried out in the framework of an industrial pre-maturation contract in close collaboration with Toulouse White Biotechnology lab. The project is in two phases, 12 months, with intermediate evaluation, then if validation 12 months of finalization.
