Job Description
Missions
Cohesin is a ring-shaped ATPase that forms loops along the chromosomes of various organisms. These loops are required for the regulation of biological processes such as transcription and DNA repair. However, the mechanisms required for loop formation remain poorly understood. We therefore decided to use yeast to investigate the mechanisms necessary for their formation.
