We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to study establishment of cell identities in human and mouse cerebral organoid models.

Activités

- Study cell identities and lineages in physiological and pathological contexts
- Develop protocols for human and mouse neural organoids
- Present and discuss data within the Cell-ID consortium (PEPR)
- Opportunities to supervize students

Compétences

We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, and rigorous candidate with a PhD, excellent organizational skills, and proven ability to work in a team. Expertise in transcriptomics and bioinformatics analysis is needed. Previous experience in stem cell culture would be a plus.

Contexte de travail

The position is available within the “Neurodevelopment in mammals” team, affiliated with the Center for Integrative Biology in Toulouse (CBI). The CBI is one of the major centers for fundamental research in biology in Toulouse, located on the Rangueil campus of the University of Toulouse.

Contraintes et risques

- Possible on-call duty for cell culture on weekends and public holidays (approximately one or two days per month)
- Possible animal experimentation (mice)
