Job Description
Missions
Literature survey and analysis, design of ligands and complexes of main-group elements with the aim of developing their applications in catalysis
Activity
Synthesis, purification, and characterization of compounds of interest - Study of their properties (aggregation-state, reactivity, catalysis) - Preparation of synthesis reports (experimental protocols and analytical data) - Preparation of drafts for publication
Your Profil
Skills
The candidate must have solid expertise in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of organometallic complexes. Experience in catalysis, XRD, and DFT calculations would be an asset but is not essential. Good communication and writing skills, particularly in English, are required.
Your Work Environment
-Fixed-term contract framework: LHFA, CNRS-UT joint unit is located in the Chemistry building (2R1) of the UT, 118 route de Narbonne, Toulouse. The LHFA is composed of six research teams and comprises 70-80 people. Its core activities are the synthesis and study of original molecules and highly reactive species.
