Missions

The candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Nicolas Mano and Sébastien Gounel, molecular biology engineer, at the Paul Pascal Research Center. The objective will be to create enzyme libraries and produce/purify new enzymes according to established protocols.

Activités

-Conduct routine experiments in one of the fields of biology (cultures, production, biological or biochemical assays, molecular biology and enzymology)
- Collect and format results of experiments,
- Assist users in the collection, formatting and analysis of data
- Maintain a laboratory notebook,
- Plan the use of specific equipment and experimental rooms,
- Manage the maintenance of the equipment, stocks and associated products,
- Manage the stocks of consumables and the orders of biological and chemical products,
- Respect and ensure respect of ethical, hygiene and safety rules,
- Be able to work in a multidisciplinary environment,

Contexte de travail

The Paul Pascal Research Center (CRPP) is a joint unit of the CNRS and the University of Bordeaux. It consists of six research teams and six shared services. The laboratory's activity is divided into three closely related areas of research: soft matter, functional materials, and their interfaces with biotechnologies (140 staff, including temporary employees). The successful candidate will work within the Biopiles and Biosensors team. The contract will initially be for four months, with the possibility of extension.

The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
