Missions
Mission: As part of the ANR 3D-MOC project, the researcher will participate in WP 2 "3D subtractive manufacturing" and WP 6: "Components and systems: design and characterization."
Main missions: Ensure the modifications of glasses by the FLICE method with the laser experimental bench of the ICMCB, Study of the optimization of the process in burst mode, Characterization and thermomechanical photonic design of integrated optical elements and free form optics; Characterization of XGBG networks and filters. Participation in the development of direct all-optical manufacturing by laser of compact integrated photonic circuits in hybrid material.
Activités
The candidate will have to develop his/her missions by ensuring the operation and improvement of the subtractive registration bench regarding the FLICE process. He will have a part of his activity dedicated to negative registration on 3 glass families (Silica, Tellurite and HMO) for the consortium. Another activity concerns the characterization and design of components. The design will be carried out with a Lumerical and or COMSOL modeling. The characterization of the components will be carried out on the visible/ MIR/IR integrated optics characterization bench of the consortium in Bordeaux and Limoges
Compétences
The candidate must have proven experience in guided optics (for design and characterization). A skill on the manufacturing processes of photonic components in clean room: (Implementation of manufacturing processes, spin coating, sputtering, photolithography, reactive etching, SEM, AFM, EDX, profilometer, ellipsometry. A skill in laser matter interaction in the femtosecond regime would be a plus.
Contexte de travail
Created in 1995, the Bordeaux Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry (ICMCB) focuses its research on Solid State Chemistry, Materials Science and Chemistry and Process: designing, preparing, shaping and characterizing materials in order to discover, control and optimize specific functions. The ICMCB carries out fundamental research on model materials and/or materials with potential applications.
The ICMCB is a UMR with an average of 280 agents (permanent and non-permanent), with 3 tutelles, hosted by the CNRS and in total ZRR. The position is located in a sector covered by the Protection of Scientific and Technical Potential (PSTP), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that the arrival of the agent be authorized by the competent authority of MESR.
Le poste se situe dans un secteur relevant de la protection du potentiel scientifique et technique (PPST), et nécessite donc, conformément à la réglementation, que votre arrivée soit autorisée par l'autorité compétente du MESR.
Contraintes et risques
The project is carried out in a total ZRR area, which represents a classic constraint related to the site. Identified risks: Class IV laser and chemical with the use of base/acid and solvents
