Job Description
Missions
The person recruited will be tasked with developing the synthesis of pharmaceutical active ingredients by ecocatalysis, building on ChimEco's achievements in research and R&D.
Activity
- Patent analysis
- Preparation of ecocatalysts
- Research and optimization of reaction conditions for ecocatalyzed reactions
- Analysis and interpretation of chemistry results
- Study of scaling up best results
- Drafting of results and scientific reports
- Participation in economic analyses
Your Profil
Skills
- Strong background in organic chemistry, particularly in ecocatalysis
- Proficiency in GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, and FT-IR techniques
- Proficiency in scientific bibliographic databases, including patents
- Willingness to actively contribute to the unit's work and objectives
- Enjoyment of teamwork, collaborative projects, and interdisciplinary, public-private partnerships
- Training in confidentiality and industrial issues
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
Your Work Environment
As part of a CNRS pre-maturation program, the Laboratory of Bio-inspired Chemistry and Ecological Innovations (ChimEco-UMR 5021 CNRS-University of Montpellier) is recruiting a researcher specializing in organic and sustainable chemistry.
The successful candidate will be affected at the Laboratory of Bio-inspired Chemistry and Ecological Innovations (Grabels/Montpellier Biopole site, France) under the supervision of Claude Grison.
