Missions

Sorption based thermal heat storage is of high priority for CENTRE FOR ENERGY AND THERMAL SCIENCES OF LYON and in particular for the team "heat transfer and energy processes in buildings and their environment". Several experimental set-up have been developed over the years or used in order to characterize sorption materials or to study the energy efficiency of thermal energy storage systems.
The objective is therefore to create an experimental platform consisting of existing test facilities available in the lab.

Activities

The person recruited will have to:
Develop the platform
Identify apparatus or systems which can improve the platform
Opening up the platform to the industry
Supervise and perform the studies, characterization on this topic

Skills

The recruited person holds a doctoral degree in energy and process engineering. The basic requirement will be to have at least CEFR level B2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening English.

Work Context

This project is in harmony with the five-year plan of the laboratory.
