We are looking for an enthusiastic postdoctoral fellow to continue our dosimetry studies of innovative radiotherapy techniques, in particular, proton minibeam radiotherapy (pMBRT). The postdoctoral fellow will perform Monte Carlo simulation studies as well as experimental dosimetry.

-PhD in Physics, Medical Physics or Engineering
-Experience in radiotherapy with spatial dose fractionation
-Knowledge in radiotherapy
-Experience in Monte Carlo simulations.

Work Context

The postdoctoral fellow will develop his work within the framework of a European grant (ERC consolidator), whose main objectives are to unravel the biological mechanisms involved in tumor control and preservation of normal tissue in pMBRT.
The "New Approaches in RAdiotherapy" team is a pioneer in the design and development of innovative methods based on the use of spatial dose fractionation.

NARA is an interdisciplinary team with an international membership.
We work at the interface between medical physics, computer science (Monte Carlo simulations) and radiobiology.

NARA is based in the Signaling, Radiobiology and Cancer Unit (UMR3347), Institut Curie, at the Orsay Campus.
