Job Description
Missions
Define the spatiotemporal mechanisms of the response to mechanical stress within an epithelial tissue.
Characterize transcriptional changes during epithelial morphogenesis.
Develop methodologies to link gene expression, systemic factors, and tissue dynamics.
Activity
Develop methods to integrate transcriptional and cellular dynamics.
Analyze large-scale transcriptomic and spatial dynamics datasets.
Work in close collaboration with the team's biologists to test predictions from statistical models.
Your Profil
Skills
Strong skills in analyzing single-cell transcriptomic data using Python.
Strong skills in analyzing epithelial tissue dynamics.
Your Work Environment
Within the Polarity, Division and Morphogenesis team, the candidate will work closely with biologists and physicists to develop approaches integrating spatial transcriptomics, cell dynamics, and systemic signals to understand the mechanisms underlying the regulation of cellular mechanosensation.
Previous experience working in an interdisciplinary research environment.
