The post-doctoral researcher will mainly have research missions concerning the (legal, political, economic) response of the Union to the crisis of the rule of law. He will also have to organize a series of seminars (4) and conferences (1) around this topic. The entire research project is available upon request.
This research is part of a collective project (Aix-Marseille, CNRS, ENS Paris Saclay, Paris 2, ULB), interdisciplinary (law, political science, sociology, economics) and funded by the ANR.
The post-doctoral researcher will mainly be involved in the research and writing of scientific reports and articles on the subject of the EU's responses to the crisis of the rule of law. He/she will also participate in international conferences and organize scientific events in Paris and Brussels. Finally, he/she will act as a "transmission belt" between the members of the consortium (6).
Applicants should have a PhD in law, economics, sociology, political science and an excellent academic profile.
A research competence attested by a publication related to the project's theme and activities is desirable or a PhD related to the project's theme.
Other essential criteria for this position are a good knowledge of the research world, an ability to work in a team and to meet deadlines, as well as a demonstrated expertise in filing and project management. Autonomy and good organizational skills are also important. Finally, a good command of French and English is required.
The post-doctoral fellow will be part of the HEC Paris Law Department

This research is part of a collective project and interactions with the members of the consortium are essential.
Constraints and risks
Short periods of travel in Brussels, Aix and Firenze should be expected.
