Missions

The person recruited will be responsible for the scientific tasks associated with the European poc "Commit" project. This project aims to perform the experimental proof of concept for the future exploitation of a new textile microfluidics technology

Work Context

The laboratory is affiliated with the Institut Curie, the CNRS (UMR168) and the PSL University.
It is located in the Pierre Gilles de Gennes Institute for Microfluidics. The "Macromolecules and Microsystems in Biology and Medicine" team is specialized in microfluidics. The person recruited will be under the primary responsibility of Mr JL Viovy, Director of Research Emeritus, and the secondary responsibility of Mrs Catherine Villard, Director of Research.

Constraints and risks

The position is subject to the conventional risks of an experimental physicochemical laboratory. It involves handling biological (non-infectious) material.
It may occasionally require work outside normal working hours according to a protocol validated by the CHS. It may involve a few trips (in France and subject to current health regulations)
