Job Description
Missions
As part of the ScalingRules project (ANR Chair of Excellence France 2030), Dr. Basto's laboratory is hiring a full-time postdoctoral researcher in Long-Term Cell Imaging and Cellular Instability following whole-genome duplications (WGD) to contribute to the lab's research, which aims to understand how polyploid cells regulate their optimal size while maintaining their function. This is part of the lab's broader project to study ploidy transitions, the cell cycle, and the maintenance of genetic stability. This position is ideal for a recent PhD graduate with expertise in Cell Biology or Cancer Biology. The position is part of a multidisciplinary environment combining cell biology, advanced microscopy, and quantitative analysis, with access to state-of-the-art imaging platforms and international collaborations.
