Job Description

Missions

The candidate will have the objective of exploring the use of the CATCHFIRE system for in vivo applications.

Activity

The postdoctoral fellow will work within the team and in collaboration with Arnaud Gautier's team (CNRS UMR 8228/Sorbonne University). The project aims to confirm the use of CATCHFIRE technology for in vivo cell control and to initiate a pharmacokinetic analysis for future applications in cell therapy. Cell lines expressing a luminescent protein under CATCHFIRE control will be generated. They will be transplanted in vivo into mice using a platform at Institut Curie and luminescence control will be evaluated.
The position also involves participation in seminars, workshops, and group meetings to promote collaboration and scientific exchange, as well as interactions with central institutional facilities and research groups at the Institut Curie.

- Demonstrated capacity to lead research projects in an independant way while efficiently providing among a team environment
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken english, with strong skills in scientific presentation and communication
- Skills in mollecular biology and cellular biology

The team "Intracellular Transport: Engineering and Mechanisms" lead by Franck Perez (https/institut-curie.org/team/perez) is an international team that specializes in the studies of intracellular trafic and the development of new biotechnologies.
She is affiliated with the CNRS UMR144 unit at Institut Curie (in central Paris).
Institut Curie is a key player in cancer research and treatment. It consists of a hospital and a research center with over 1,000 staff members, representing a diverse international community. The goal of Institut Curie's Research Center is to advance basic research and apply the knowledge generated to improve the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of cancers within the continuum between basic research and innovation for the benefit of patients.
