Job Description
Missions
A postdoc position is open in the group Theory of Nonequilibrium Quantum Matter at the Institut of Physics of College de France (IPCdF) in Paris.
Activity
The research activity will focus on quantum many-body systems out of equilibrium (Including driven Floquet systems, open quantum systems and correlated systems coupled to cavity fields). The position is within the ERC Consolidator "Light-Control of Nonequilibrium Quantum Matter".
Your Profil
Skills
Candidates with research experience of several years after the thesis in the field of nonequilibrium quantum physics, condensed matter theory, statistical physics and quantum optics and quantum information are encouraged to apply. Depending on the project and expertise and preferences of the candidate, the research work could go from mainly analytical to largely numerical.
Your Work Environment
The theoretical activity will be based at IPCdF in collaboration with Marco Schiro and will take advantage of the interactions with other group at College de France and in the Paris region working on related topics, both at the experiemental and theoretical level
