Missions

In a first phase, the Research Officer will be tasked with completing an inventory of resources (ap-plications, tools, training programs, tutorials) and processes used in heritage research across the various European partner institutions of the ECHOES project, ensuring diversity among the part-ners to obtain good representation of the wide range of disciplines in heritage sciences. These in-ventories will be structured and entered into the DARIAH SSH Open Marketplace platform.

Contexte de travail

The European ECHOES project (funded by Horizon Europe) aims to develop and implement a European Cloud for Cultural Heritage. The project is organized into work packages. The Research Officer's tasks will be part of Work Package 7, “Digital Commons Knowledge-Base,” which fo-cuses on modeling data provenance, particularly the processes involved in generating the data. This work package specifically aims to identify DARIAH's SSH Open Marketplace as a relevant solution for documenting workflows that could be integrated into the cloud model.
The Research Officer will work under the hierarchical supervision of Xavier Rodier, Director of the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme Val de Loire (MSH VdL), and under the functional supervi-sion of Olivier Marlet, who is responsible for this activity within the ECHOES project.

The Research Officer will join the software development team at MSH Val de Loire, which hosts the ECHOES project. Standard working hours apply. A dedicated workstation will be provided.
