Missions
:The overall objective of this postdoctoral position is to broaden the conceptual, historical, and geographical scope of the analysis of human-reef relationships in order to propose systemic and operational management measures tailored to specific needs. We want to develop an assessment framework that will enable us to better identify and propose, in a transparent manner, management measures for optimal sustainability, tailored to each study area and applicable to different sites within those areas.
Activities
■ Assess how existing global initiatives can be implemented at different scales, from local to global, to inform sustainable coral reef management;
■ Adapt existing global initiatives to incorporate the multiplicity of relationships between humans and reefs;
■ Analyze data to extract socio-ecological trends at different scales;
■ Publish peer-reviewed scientific articles based on this work.

■ Experience processing and synthesizing different types of social and ecological data at various spatial scales, as well as large spatial datasets in R or GIS
