Missions
The scientific coordinator assists the heads of the IC Migrations thematic departments, in particular the INTEGER department under the direction of Angéline Escafre-Dublet, MCF Lyon 2. The scientific coordinator will also assist the scientific management of the IC Migrations with all transition and closure tasks for the programme, which will run until the end of 2026.
Activités
These activities are carried out in collaboration with the heads of the departments and the ICMigrations project management.
1/Coordination of the ICMigrations' scientific activities:
- helping to define the ICMigrations' research priorities;
- take part in coordinating and promoting the research carried out by ICMigrations
- Participate in scientific monitoring and work on multidisciplinary enrichment of work;
- Participate in monitoring and commenting on current migration issues;
- coordinating the arrival of national and international fellows;
- organise the programme's closing events
- Collecting scientific and financial reports on projects funded by the ICM and helping to prepare end-of-project reports
- Archiving stored project data
2/ Implementation of a publishing project, the collective work IC Migrations :
Coordinate with the head of the POLICY department and ensure that the manuscript is submitted around the start of the 2026 academic year.
Compétences
- Doctorate in humanities and social sciences
- Training in one of the disciplines relevant to the study of migration
- Current research on migration
- Wide-ranging research experience, including involvement in scientific projects or networks
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English
- ability to work in a team
Contexte de travail
Funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), the Institut convergences MIGRATIONS aims to remedy the current dispersal of research forces in the field of migration by taking advantage of their concentration on the Condorcet campus and the sharp rise in publications and actions on the subject. The IC Migrations is made up of five thematic departments that bring together the Institute's fellows. IC Migrations is hosted by UAR2028 - Condorcet.
