Job Description
Missions
The successful candidate will contribute to data analysis and the operation of the ATLAS detector by participating in the processing and interpretation of collision data in order to produce reliable scientific results.
He/she will also be involved in developments aimed at improving the detector in the context of the HL-LHC phase, contributing to the development, commissioning, and validation of new systems.
Activity
- Contribute to data analysis (processing, validation, interpretation)
- Participate in studies and developments for detector upgrades in the context of the HL-LHC
- Collaborate with international teams and present results
Your Profil
Skills
PhD in particle physics or a related field, with several years of solid experience within large high-energy physics collaborations. Prior experience with the ATLAS detector will be considered a strong asset.
Your Work Environment
AICP is a laboratory of the National Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (IN2P3) of the CNRS, located on the French site of CERN in Prévessin. The work will therefore take place at CERN, within the ATLAS internationale collaboration, with strong synergies with the ATLAS team of the LPCA laboratory (CNRS–Clermont-Ferrand).
